Beyonce the Cat needs a home

Beyoncé is a kitten with some very special needs. She needs strict routine and some area to isolate herself. Although all her littermates are normal, Beyoncé developed some odd behaviors starting at about 3 weeks of age. Despite a thorough work-up and consult with a neurologist, a cause was not identified. When Beyoncé is anxious, she growls and bites at herself or a toy. She has never hurt herself, but she does vocalize and appear agitated. Most of the time, she directs her behavior towards her toy. If she is with other cats, though, she can become aggressive to them as well. Her foster home has several cats. If she can have her own space and “time-out” area, she does very well. She thrives on routine and attention.



Beyoncé currently takes Gabapentin, a medication that helps calm her. She takes this twice a day in a liquid form. The cost is about $15 per month.



Beyoncé is current on Vaccines, FeLV/ FIV negative, and spayed. She can be very loving a deserves a chance at a forever home. Please consider her for your next cat family member!
